Happy New Year!!

Well on the cusp of being 2010, I thought it would be appropriate to discuss NewYears resolutions. Last year mine were to be heathly,exercise more, cuss less.. I FAILED on all of them,this year I just want to be a better person.A kinder person. A blessing to someone..
So what are your "resolutions"? I would like to not have my feelings hurt so easily. We were at church on Sunday and the Pastor said something that really made me think. "It is as offensive to be offended than it is to offend." In other words dont pick up the offense.It is ultimately my choice to be offended or not.

School starts back on Monday : ( . I enjoy being home with the kids. They are getting stir crazy though. Popeye goes back to work..So do I.

So I have these

Feetie pajamas. Autumn got them for me for christmas. We each opened 1 on Saturday. I love them, they keep me warm. A little too warm. And they make me nervous, what if I was just relaxing at home and the UPS guys came by, or the neighbor lady brought over cookies. How would I explain my jammies? They are perfect in size... they have Santa on my feet. But they make my butt look HUUUUUGE.........

So on face-book a family member talked about the amazing dinner she made. Then she said but I didnt do the dishes: ) .

Made me wonder, did Betty Crocker do her dishes? Did Julia Childs do hers? I doubt Martha does hers.I love Martha,ALOT, but I highly doubt she does her own dishes. They are my enemy. I hate them. I had a dishwasher once. I bought it for myself. It was a portable one with a butcher block top. Loved it. When we moved there wasnt room. I want a dishwasher. Its on my remodel list for the house when we do the kitchen...

This is my dilema, is it REALLY helping if you husband DOES wash dishes occasionally? But when he doesnt wash ALL the dishes he will wash what he used at a meal, leaving everyone elses? I cooked the friggin meal, cant you wash the dishes? HuhMrMan?

Today I really want to stay home and work on Liams quilt. But Mr.Man has been cooped up in his office all alone.... so I am going to get him some lunch and hang out a while.

The weather has been really cold lately, like in the negatives. I think it is supposed to warm up and snow this weekend....Thats right.... warm up to snow

It is butt ass freezing outside! Heck ts cold inside too!! I have my heater up full blast,with a curtain in the doorway to keep it warm in here. Cement floor feel EXTREMELY cold at 6am,I'm just sayin...

I got half of our gifts mailed out yesterday. Still have 3 boxes to send this week. Shipping is expensive! They should move closer , it would totally help me save on shipping... Hello family do you hear that?

I am starting Liams blanket, have the strips cut,need to cut to squares and put together.I have procratinated long enough.

New Blog

I am going to try a new "blogging" style. I am going to blog like I am famous. Blog like I am P Dubb. Martha Stewart style with some F bombs mixed in.. Just kidding I wont drop any F Bombs. ( I am trying to work on my potty mouth) Its a muther f'n process let me tell ya!!

So today I went and had coffee with a friend and then went and drove around a Cemetary

I dont know if I ever blogged about it or told any of you about it ( remember I am pretending there is someone reading this ) I have always had this weird recurring dream. It is hard to explain the feeling or impression or smells..I am weird yes I smelled in my dream anyway.. In my dream I am walking around a cemetary that is basically built into a hill. Well in this dream there are white walls, cold heavy feelings. When my parents were here I found this place. I have been there in my dreams, remember before I moved here to this great state I had only visited once... Never to this Cemetary though. I wanted to cry and felt VERY heavy and cold and strange.... I wouldnt go back alone..(Remember again that I have emballmed people, heald human remains in my hand,buried people,cremated people. Been alone with Many a dead) and Never been scared or had any weird feelings. This is not the case of the Mausoleum. When I went for the first time, I am TOTALLY weirded out. I have strange pictures of Orbs and other weird things. Again I wont go alone.
Today I took my friend K.I am SO GLAD she went with me.I took mike and he wasnt feeling it. Well I told K it is a beautiful place but I am not comfortable going there alone anymore. So She went.. She got it, the opressing hard and heavy feeling. When I go there it is obviously a sad place. But this opression is something I have never felt before. Heavy and burdening.Beautiful and absolutley frightening.Black and White. There is so much sadness and also so much happiness there it is amazing.
Then I took her for a drive through the upper/older part of the one across the street. I cant wait for a warmer day when we can walk around. It was 28 today.. cold cold cold.

I read the creator of The Sons of Anarchys' blog. Kurt Sutter is his name.This man is a genius. This show is amazing. I told someone I watched SOA. Want to know what they said? Why would you watch that trash? Um have you seen it? I wondered.. Its every quiet suburban houswives fantasy. Atleast it is mine : )
That show is freakin awesome. The season ends tomorrow. Boohoo and wont be back on until Sept 2010~~ Come on that is WAY too far away.

Anyway I have lots to catch up on... as in 2 of my nephews were here for 4 days, I camped out this weekend in like 20degree weather and loved it,and I am going to FINALLY put some stuff in my Etsy tomorrow, But I am tired,answering phones and making copies is hard work I'll tell ya..

Wow where did the summer go? Its almost gone and passed. It went with a flash. I wont lie there were days I thought would never end. Like the 2nd time driving straight through 15 hours to Cali. Or waiting for my sister in law to call and tell me to come see my new angel nephew Liam. All in all it has been a good summer. The kids would probably say it was boring,no trips to the Water slides a couple times a week this year.
Next year we are planning on taking a real family vacation.Maybe to the coast. Maybe to the hills in Montana. Who knows, but I do know my time with my kids is slipping by a little too quickly these days. They are growing up so fast, almost 9 and 11. IT is crazy because yet again I remember being those ages.
We did buy a camper for our family. It is a 71 Breeze. I cant find any info on it anywhere.But it is cute. Not quite as "vintage" as I might like, but she is cute. Her name is Betsy and I hope to be joining Sisters on The Fly soon.
We have a major project for us,we layed down new floor in the living room. Mike and I make a pretty good team I think.
We finally got Highspeed internet back. It wasnt as hard as I thought it would be to live without it.But it is defenatley conveniant when I think of something to google,lol.

On the road again....

Well once again it is summer time. I am almost all packed for our little vacation. the kids are stoked and I am excited to see the kids.
I have been so busy with the birds the kids and working. Work has been a little stressful, we lost another student about 2 weeks ago. the desperation in teens is very hard to grasp. I cant even imagine losing a child, ugh.
I got called a M f'r yesterday by a student,nice huh?
Mike doesnt want us to leave him. The plan is to be back before the 4th this year.I will spend it with my family,my man and my kids.
I am looking forward to this trip, and even the drive. I am weird I know. 16 hours in a car w/ kids. They are awesome though.

GUESS WHAT I GOT???? 2 Ducks,and 4 chickens!!! YESSSS.Finally,its about dang time!
Things have been good my friend Alee came down.I had lunch with a friend last monday. The garden will be in this weekend andI got newbabies!!! I love them, the ducks follow any of us when we make kissy noises and say duckduckduck.I LOVE IT!!
I have been sleeping AMAZING(LY)OUTSIDE either in the hamock or the tent.I am flithydirty and I can feel the dirt in my shoes, its actually pretty nasty. But I came to Kris' to get Kyle and Kris took Mike golfing.... I am off to head home and check onmynew kids!!

Well Shmell... Hello blog world, which I know by my little counter over > to the right lets me know who is and mostly ISNT coming to read my blog. Why isnt my blog being read? Is it because it sucks and is boring, or maybe not enough pictures. I have been debating taking this down, but who gives arip. I am leaving it up so that me, myself and I can converse with each other. ; )
What have I been up to? A little bit of Nada. Mom and Dad where here for 11 days and we had an amazing visit,couldnt have asked for any different weather, snowing when they got here and nice later.They loved it, I think Dad would move here if they could. We didnt do too much, visited about a MILLION antique stores and went to
Cour'de lene, and Cabelas (my fav!)The kids enjoyed having them here.I enjoyed having them here, Mike enjoyed having them here,they enjoyed being here.
I havent worked much lately,Mikes hours are being cut again.But it is better than the alternitive of having NO JOB. After the 14th or so, I wont having internet anymore, which is fine by me.Cable has been reduced.Right now I am getting ready to ge the garden set up, got flowers in and hopefully they will be okay. We had planned on doing Raised beds this years, but just not in the budget. So the yard is coming along.
I am still KIND of looking for a travel trailer, not that we can afford alot right now, but shoot if we had to live in it like Gypsies we could ; ) . Saw one in Post Falls, but the inside had a little bit of fire damage and it smelled funky. One at an RV place was CRAP and they wanted 1K for it.................... its still there.; ) There have been a few on CL, but just not THE ONE.
I have been walking everyday atleast a mile.Trying to build up myself to run the whole thing.
I am going to the MaryJanes store to do a Rug class in May. That should be cool,gotta start cutting up some sheets for that. Other than that I am just looking forward to summer and spending time with my family..

Spring is coming.It doesnt look like it, but it is. Its inevitable ya know? It will come. IT WILL!!!! I heard the birds this morning, a very welcome sound. Mom and dad will be here in 35days. I CANT wait! I need a mom hug...
Today I am catching up on the house work. I worked all week last week, have I mentioned how much I love my job? I frickin love it. I love the kids, even the smart assy ones, I love the people I work with. Its awesome. I love to get to wear Heels, I love to be exhausted when i fall into my bed.I however dont love the crap that waits for me when I have a day off.Like laundry,bills that need sending out and the check book that needs to be balanced, after we have eaten out for a week, cause I am too tired to cook when I get home. Yuck.Whatta waste. But it was better than having to cook, I'll tell you.
I also started &finished a project for a friend. I worked feverishly on it until Tuesday at about midnight. Then the guy at the postie didnt check the OVERNIGHT space, he checked 2day! Crap!! Stupid me for not checking. But dang it, I was on lunch and in a hurry.
Today I plan on Rockin out to my Judds Greatest Hits CD and my new James Taylor, have I mentioned how much I heart James Taylor and his HOT son Ben. Good Lord, JT and Carly spit out a fine son.
Anyway Rocking out to my new CDs, I am going to be checking out a new HDTV for Mike, its gonna be his birthday next week..It going to be a surprise!! I am also going to go through Autumns clothes today. She has grown 2!! Inches since march10th last year. She is only about 7 pounds lighter than Kyle, which is a POLE!! I have no dished to do, thanks to my FABULOUS husband, I am going to be getting some Flat Rate boxes ready for shipping, I want to get rid of some fabric scraps, if you have made it this far and are the 1rst person to leave a comment I will send you one.
Then I plan on knitting.and Planning my garden, I am going to be setting up a table downstairs soon , for my seedlings. Also I am looking at some chickens! Which Mike said I could get for my birthday,but sinceI am getting him a TV for his, I bet I can have more than just a few chickies!!
I am off to Rockin with the rythm of the rain ................

I got online to check 1 thing! 1 fricking thing. Here I am an hour later sucked into the virtual vortex. Ugh sometimes I hate the computer. Sometimes I hate my lack of will power to get off my duff and wash clothes.........

Sunshiny Sunshine

Oh yes the sun is out.Has been since yesterday. Its glorious. ALMOST warm, too bad its going to snow Friday,lol. Things have been good, busy. Autumn was sick, I thought she had strep, but took her to the DR. and all test were negative. Just a cold, boyOboy did she milk it,lol. Both of the kids had their dentist appointments yesterday, they both have to go to the Orthodontist, oh joy.$$$$ I got a couple of new books the other day, one is an Amish cookbook and is awesome, a knitting book,a book about getting back to basics, tells how to build a barn, and farmy stuff and another one, but I am sending it back.
I was scheduled to work all week this week and next, but this week has been cancelled, since a BEAM busted in the foyer area of the school, where I was scheduled to work. Sucks, but what can ya do? Nothing.
We started remodeling the bathroom upstairs. It look amazing.I'll have to upload some after pictures.We layed down a new floor,took out the old toilet,sink,mirror,lights and vanity and put all new in.In the next couple of weeks we are hoping to start the living room/kitchen area. We are going to put hardwood down.We plan on taking the carpet from the lving room and using it downstairs. Hopefully it will help warm it up down there a little during the winter.
I havent been sewing in a while. But got a call on maybe doing some projects for someone, we shall see. It kind of fell through last time. I am probably going to get rid of my old machines exept for 2 or 3. And down sizing my stash. I dont need all this stuff and quite frankliy coming down here and looking at it all gives me a headache. : )
Since we dont really know whats going on right now I am planning a garden, I am not going to NOT do it, if we arent able to move this year. We both have jobs here right now and it looks like Cali aint doing so good in that area. So we gotta plan extensively if we are to move, which you never know will or when it will happen. We are just taking it a day at a time at this point. So I guess I am going to do all the thing sI planned on doing, as far as painting and maybe getting some chickens and getting a better garden in this year than I had last year. This summer when I come down, I am probably going to bring the kids down and stay for a week , come home and leave the kids down there. Maybe . we will see. I am trying to get Dad to come home with me for a week or so this summer, but he hates leaving mom.Maybe I can even steal Tricia and the boys again. That would be nice.
Anyway thats it that going on here, I have a box to send mom for her birthday , so I want that to go out today. Some laundry that needs to be washed and some sun that needs me to soak it up.

Yes we know, I suck at blogging. Its just a fact of life for me.

Things are going good, we are discussing moving back to California. My parents need us. Dads health sucks ass, and Moms isnt any better.Speaking of them both, they are coming for a visit!! Yep mom and dad are getting on an airplane!! Can you belive it? 76 days and I can see my parents!! I am STOKED!! I plan on doing alot of showing the area off, Buggy Barn, Downtown, the lake, maybe taking a drive into Idaho. They have never been anywhere, I want to make this an awesome trip for them. I plan on having alot of time showing Mom off to my friends. I am hoping we have a FarmGirl meeting while she is here. And the kids will be on break most of the time they are here. On moving back -I dont know that I REALLY want to go back. For family yes, for the mind games, smog and stupid people Um No! Give me my parents, neices and nephews, even the brothers and I would be perfectly content staying here.
We are playing it by ear right now. Work is very slow for Mike.There just isnt anyone buiding anything right now, which is tough for him, cause he likes to do good work.

The kids are doing great! I am doing good and all our pets are too. Autumn (we) got a Gerbil, I wanted to name her Richard Geer, Autumn didnt get it.lol

Kyle got a Crayfish, I am still not exactly sure their purpose, but he wanted it.He got it .
Anyway I am going to go knit.. Toodles!!
