Wow, well we have been in Washington for a year.In some ways it feels like this has always been home, in others it feels like yesterday that I was bawling my head off crying and sobbing saying to Mike I cant do it, I cant leave my family. It feels like yesterday that I was avoiding the look in mom and dads eyes, knowing they were disappointed in me for leaving them. Even now, I feel guilty. Guilty for putting us first. But you know something everything happens for a reason.Bad things sad things scray things and happy things. God has a plan behind all of that.
I can honestly say that while I was saying WE WILl HAVE A HOME BEFORE NEXT CHRISTMAS, I was quietly thinking in my head, will we really? What if we dont? It would have been alot easier to run back to California. LOADS easier, if we didnt get this house we probably would be beack there now.But we arent, we are here.
Working growing living being. Being a family, and counting on each other.
We did it!! Together, we havent had to borrow from family, we havent had to go without. God had his hand in this the whole time. He made the way.He blessed us, with some good people by putting them in our path, even the ones who turned out not so good, I am thankful for. Cause there was a lesson there.
So I do not regret all the months living in ghetto land, with sex in the back yard by drunk teenagers and yelling people running down the street. That rough road led us here, that road led us HOME.
